Dr Liz Marr, our Pro-Vice Chancellor for Students up until her retirement in May, has just been given a coveted accolade at the Women Leaders 2023 Awards, Milton Keynes, in the category of skills education and training.
The ceremony, which took place at Milton Keynes Stadium, recognised women leaders over a large range of categories that have shown passion, resilience and dedication to furthering their and other women’s careers.
The judging panel commended her for her passionate commitment over 30 years to supporting teaching and learning in HE and opening opportunity for all for learning, as well as her personal commitment to mentoring young women on their leadership journeys.
