As part of a special week of Mars programmes on BBC Radio 4, Professor of Planetary and Space Sciences, Monica Grady, presents a 30 minute special programme about the search for life on the Red Planet on Monday 6 March 2017, 21:00.
In Hunting the Martians, Professor Grady explores the balance of evidence for Mars as a habitable and inhabited planet in the past and present. She also looks ahead to forthcoming missions aimed at searching for signs of biology on Mars, with a focus on the ExoMars Rover Mission, scheduled for launch in 2020. Professor Grady visits the Mars Yard at Airbus Headquarters, Stevenage, where she will experience a prototype rover in action.
